Style

The love birds card is a gate fold style card. The two love birds are mirrored beak to beak. They sit in a tree which is in full bloom, leaves, vines and flowers cover the branches and it’s a buzz with bees and butterfly’s. The card is closed by a ribbon that laces through a card loop on the bird’s branch. The palette is a beautiful apple green so fresh and summery. The laser cut card is graceful and classic in its charm subtly detailing the bird’s feathers and the trees foliage. Elements of the foliage from the main design are used throughout the print set. The love birds are also central to the wedding table plan with a playful arrangement of the birds’ nests used to display the individual tables. A feather design is used for thankyou cards and gift tags.

The invitation card size is gatefold 145mm x 145mm, with Lime Green 125gsm inlay paper as an insert. The order of service is bound by an optional 10mm organza ribbon in Meadow Green which complements the colour of the inlay and print set. A Lime Green and Silver twine is available as an extra option although a combination of the two would work well for this collection. The ribbon can also be used for the favour boxes, tags and bunting.
